Hengshan Resort is located in the northeastern part of Qijiang District, about 22 kilometers from downtown Qijiang and roughly a 70-minute drive from central Chongqing. It is one of the closest mountain towns to Chongqing's urban core. The area has an average elevation of over 1,000 meters, with an average summer temperature of 25°C, and its highest point is Tiantai Mountain at 1,326 meters. The resort has vigorously pursued a tourism-driven development strategy, aiming to establish itself as a “summer retreat and leisure destination, as well as a conference and training base” on the outskirts of Chongqing. Large-scale resort communities such as “Deyixin · Splendid Tiantai,” “Diling Garden,” and “Julong Holiday Village” have taken initial shape. “Dexin Resort Hotel” has been successfully upgraded to a four-star tourism hotel, the “NO.1 Outdoor Adventure Base” is thriving with training activities, and Yifeng Ancient Town allows visitors to enjoy both cool mountain air and historic charm while relaxing.
