Honghua Lake in Datong

Situated in Daluo Village, Datong Town, Honghua Lake is located at an elevation of 1,200 meters. It boasts lush vegetation and a mild, humid climate, with summer temperatures maintaining around 25°C. The lake spans a total water area of 700 acres and is encircled by mountains, surrounded by 80,000 acres of virgin forest and a forest coverage rate exceeding 95%. With negative oxygen ions reaching up to 2,850 ions/cm³, it serves as a rare natural oxygen bar and makes for an ideal destination for leisure, summer retreats, and rural life experiences. From July to September, visitors can pick and taste 500 acres of premium red-flesh kiwifruit along the way.
