The Qijiang Papaya Crabapple Garden is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Qijiang Papaya Crabapple Garden in Qijiang, Chongqing, is located in Tongya Village, Sanjiao Town, 8 kilometers from the Tonghui Exit of the Qijiang–Wanzhou Expressway, and adjacent to the Hongyanping Scenic Area of the Qijiang National Geological Park. The scenic area spans a planned area of 1,600 mu, with an overall spatial layout structured as “one core, one belt, and two zones,” serving as a demonstration planting zone for Chongqing’s papaya industry. On March 10, 2015, it was successfully rated as a national AAA-level tourist attraction. The garden features a wide variety of papaya crabapple cultivars, currently cultivating 23 medicinal papaya varieties and 22 ornamental crabapple varieties. It has built attractions such as a visitor reception center, the Papaya Crabapple Square, a rural conference hotel, a papaya variety resource nursery, a crabapple sightseeing garden, a papaya planting area, and the Three Trees. It is a comprehensive tourist destination integrating culture, tourism, leisure, and science education.
