Wensheng Tourism and Sightseeing Park in Zhuan Tang Town is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Zhuan Tang Town is located in the southern part of Qijiang District, Chongqing, covering an area of 81 square kilometers. It administers 14 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees, with a total population of 30,000. It borders Shijiao Town and Fuhuan Town to the east, Dongxi Town to the south, Guofu Town to the west, and Sanjiang Subdistrict to the north. The total cultivated land area is 26,024 mu, with a forest coverage rate of 41%. The highest elevation in the area is 986 meters, and the lowest is 226.4 meters. Zhuan Tang is the birthplace of Qijiang farmers’ woodblock prints and the origin of the “Fan Zao Yang” (Rice Gone Wild) product series.

Zhuan Tang Town is rich in produce. It has established the largest cobra industrial development base in Southwest China, a demonstration base for sika deer farming in mountainous areas, and a leisure experience zone for Qijiang’s specialty aquaculture. Leveraging the characteristic breeding projects in the planned area as well as distinctive offerings such as fishing lodges, stream fishing, and farmhouse stays, the town has successfully developed the “Zhutanxi Municipal Characteristic Breeding Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park.”

Zhuan Tang Town enjoys convenient transportation. National Highway 210, the Chongqing-Guizhou Railway, and the Chongqing-Guizhou Expressway all run through the town. The town government is located just 6 kilometers from the Chongqing-Guizhou Expressway exit, 18 kilometers from Qijiang urban area, and 65 kilometers from downtown Chongqing.

Zhuan Tang Town is rich in resources. It boasts abundant reserves of “water, gas, and iron,” with the potential to develop 25,000 kilowatts of hydropower. The daily supply capacity of developable natural gas has reached 300,000 cubic meters, and the explored iron ore reserves are nearly 50 million tons. The non-public sector economy is developing rapidly, with 117 enterprises in the area, including 5 large-scale industrial enterprises and 5 enterprises above the designated size in commerce and trade. Emerging industries continue to emerge, forming pillar sectors such as energy, building materials, chemicals, glass, and mechanical processing. A district-level small and medium-sized enterprise park is currently under planning and construction.

Zhuan Tang Town neighbors the Qiahe Industrial Park and China’s Western Gear City in Qijiang District to the north, and the Chongqing Coal, Electricity, and Chemical Base to the south. Leveraging its abundant resources of “water, gas, and iron,” and making full use of its diverse climate advantages, Zhuan Tang Town will focus on the development of Zhutan Lake, the construction of Tiemǎ Peninsula, the creation of a specialty agriculture demonstration park, and the development of the Gǔqí Mountain summer retreat, striving to build a “Green Water Town · Leisurely Zhuan Tang.”
