Taibai Rock is located to the north of Wanzhou District, standing about 400 meters high, stretching approximately 3 kilometers in length, and covering an area of 120 hectares. “Fairy Traces on the White Rock” was once one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Wanzhou, boasting exceptional natural beauty. The ancient and modern inscriptions on the rock are also widely renowned. It has been a famous scenic site since the Tang and Song dynasties. On the mid-slope cliffs of Taibai Rock, there is a Song Dynasty stone carving of the “Guande Pavilion,” a Qing Dynasty stone carving from the Daoguang era inscribed with “Taibai Rock,” and a stele of Huang Tingjian’s “Record of the Western Hills.” This calligraphic work was once praised by Zeng Guofan as “the finest surviving work of Huang’s calligraphy in the world”! Taibai Rock preserves over 40 cliff inscriptions and has been listed as a Chinese scenic attraction by the National Cultural Heritage Administration.

Ascending to the summit not only evokes a sense of historical nostalgia and inspires lofty ambitions, but also offers a panoramic view of Wanzhou and the stunning landscape of rivers and mountains.
