The Lushan Agricultural Sightseeing Park was established in 1996, located just 3 kilometers from the urban area of Yubei District, making it highly accessible. The area boasts abundant water resources, with three large reservoirs covering over 280 acres and 250 acres of dense pine forest adjacent to the lakes. There are also 1,900 acres of high-quality orchards, including 1,500 acres of peach orchards, 100 acres of loquat orchards, and 300 acres of pear orchards. The environment is exceptionally beautiful, making it a new type of agricultural sightseeing park in Yubei District that develops suburban economy, builds urban agriculture, and integrates planting, breeding, processing, and recreational activities. It is a sightseeing agricultural area that combines scientific research, production, and tourism, featuring demonstration, radiation, and driving functions.

To date, 1,500 acres of peach orchards, 400 acres of pear orchards, 100 acres of loquat orchards, 300 acres of flower gardens, 250 acres of pine-crane gardens, and 5,000 acres of wintersweet gardens have been developed. This has established a cultivation scale featuring premium, special, new, and rare varieties. Supporting facilities such as forest parks, various pavilions, temples, and hot springs have also been built. Supported by family farms, the village has constructed a grand flower garden. Flower cultivation in the village has become a highlight of Yubei District’s “Hundred-Mile Flower Corridor” construction project and a key component of the region’s “colorful” agriculture. Currently, the village produces 70,000 fresh-cut flowers, 200,000 potted plants, 210,000 potted bonsai, and 42,000 square meters of sod annually.

Currently, the village’s agricultural sightseeing tourism has taken initial shape with its “Six Demonstration Garden Areas.” These include 1,500 acres of peach orchards, 400 acres of pear orchards, 100 acres of loquat orchards, 300 acres of flower gardens, 250 acres of pine-crane gardens, and 5,000 acres of wintersweet gardens, achieving a cultivation scale of premium, special, new, and rare varieties. The Lushan Sightseeing Agricultural Village now offers blooming flowers in spring, lush greenery in summer, bountiful fruit in autumn, and proud wintersweet blossoms in winter—truly achieving greening, beautification, colorization, and aromatization. It holds both ornamental value and high economic added value.
