World Scenery Park

The predecessor of Shaping Park was the private garden of the enlightened gentleman Yang Ruoyu, covering an area of 32 mu and named “Yulu.” After the liberation, it was expanded into a public park on the original site of “Yulu” and renamed “Chongqing World Scenery Park” in 1992. It is the only park green space in the core area of Shapingba. Since 2006, the park has been open to the public free of charge, with over 2,000 people visiting daily for morning exercises, walks, and other activities.
