Rainbow Beach

Rainbow Beach is located on the southern shoreline of South Bay Peninsula, facing the Clear Water Bay Resort across the water and overlooking Wuzhizhou Island. With a coastline stretching 5.9 kilometers, it is the longest purely natural coastline on Hainan Island. Rainbow Beach not only boasts beautiful surroundings as the most pristine beach preserved along Hainan’s eastern coast, but it is also a traditional home and habitat for the Tanka people. Because it lies near the mouth of Xincun Harbor and serves as a vital route for fishermen heading out to sea, the Tanka people still regard this area as a sacred site for maritime rituals.
