Situated along the southern coast of Liji Town in Wanning City, connected to Shimei Bay. It is named for being a winter refuge for swiftlet birds and swallows. Alternatively, the name is said to derive from the cliff formations by the sea that look like a giant swallow floating on the water. Nanyan Bay features rich tourism resources such as lofty peaks and cliffs, ever-flowing springs and waterfalls, expansive caves, white sandy beaches, verdant greenery, azure skies, clear blue seas, and abundant marine life.

Liji Town: Natural Overview — Liji Town is located in the southwestern part of Wanning City. It borders Dongwo Town to the east, the Nanlin Farm and Xinglong Farm to the west, neighbors Changfeng Town to the north, and faces the South China Sea to the south.
