This highly challenging 18-hole course has a total length of 7,201 yards and was meticulously designed by Robert McFarland, a professional golf course designer from the United States Golf Association (USGA), based on the original terrain. The wide fairways and greens complement the surrounding woods. The course features significant elevation changes, and most fairways are designed with the tee higher than the green, allowing a natural downslope to the putting surface.

The most distinctive feature of the entire course is its double-fairway design. Take the 11th hole, for example—a challenging 5-par, 600-yard hole. The fairway is divided into left and right sections by a wide, lush grove of trees. A shot to the left offers a conservative 3-par route to the green, while a shot to the right is an aggressive 2-par option over a 525-yard stretch. However, this requires sufficient driving distance and precise shot placement; otherwise, not only will the dream of reaching the green in two be dashed, but you might also end up trapped in hazards.
