Tinghu Pavilion

is an ideal place for sightseeing, relaxation, and vacationing, and is a tourism reception site of Hainan State Farms. Tinghu Pavilion is nestled within the lush tropical greenery of Dongxing Farm headquarters, surrounded by an ocean of palms, rubber trees, pepper plants, and coffee plants. Lush trees and blooming flowers adorn the front and back of the cottages, while colorful blossoms line the pathways. A gentle breeze rustles the leaves and sways the flowers, complemented by birds chirping in the woods and butterflies and bees fluttering among the flowers—creating a scene full of vibrant spring vitality.

Within the scenic area, winding paths are lined with rows of betel nut and coconut trees. Colorful and uniquely shaped flower beds are connected one after another, competing in beauty and displaying a myriad of forms and vibrant hues. To the east, a rectangular villa floats on the surface of a pond, where the water is as smooth as a mirror, the lotus leaves a vivid green, fish dart to and fro like shuttles, and the pebbles on the bottom are clearly visible.

The villa rooms are luxuriously decorated, equipped with air conditioning, high-end furniture, wool carpets, color TVs, water heaters, and more. The surrounding fences are adorned with potted plants and flowers in various shapes, creating an exceptionally tranquil and beautiful environment. On either side of the villa are a two-story restaurant and dance hall, both decorated with multicolored marble and golden-glazed tiles. Part of the restaurant is built over the lake, and part is on the lakeshore, complemented by corridors, waterside pavilions, towers, and terraces—all topped with glass tiles. The winding corridors are surrounded by a variety of tropical plants, with graceful bamboo and dense groves, offering a unique view at every step. Tinghu Pavilion was one of the first to enter the market in the 1980s. Over the years, it has attracted a continuous stream of domestic and international visitors. It has hosted distinguished guests from France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Belgium, and the United Nations.

All who visit or rest at Tinghu Pavilion praise its exquisite environment and find it hard to leave. In 1986, a national leader visited Hainan and stayed here. Deeply moved by the elegant scenery, he couldn’t help but pick up his brush and write: "Dongxing Tinghu Pavilion."
