--Jiaying Island is an uninhabited island that remains largely in its pristine, undeveloped state. The waters are crystal clear, with starfish, sea cucumbers, and living coral visible everywhere.

--The southern shore of the island is rugged and rocky, making it an ideal spot for fishing; wading onto the coral reefs also allows you to collect shells, observe fish, and catch crabs.

--There are no docks on Jiaying Island; the landing area is a sandy beach, which can be used as a campsite.

--It was also one of the filming locations for "If You Are the One 2," where its stunning white sandy beach impressed most moviegoers.

Transportation

Jiaying Island is located within Shimei Bay, approximately 25 kilometers from Wanning City.

1. You can take a bus from Haikou to Wanning City, get off at the seaside Shimei Bay scenic area, and then take a speedboat from the Shimei Bay Tourist Resort dock to the island in about 7 minutes.

2. You can take the Hainan Eastern Ring High-Speed Railway from Haikou, get off at Wanning Station, and then travel to Shimei Bay scenic area. From the Shimei Bay Tourist Resort dock, take a speedboat to the island in about 7 minutes.

3. You can rent a car or drive there yourself.

Follow the East Expressway to Exit 14 (Xinglong Shimei), and it’s just a 2-minute drive toward the seaside to reach the Shimei Bay Water Activity Center.

The total cost to get to the island, including the boat fare, is around 100 RMB, though the exact price may vary.

Admission Fee

Jiaying Island is currently undeveloped and does not have a set admission fee.
