The former residence of Xu Dunren is located in Wancheng Town, Wanning City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty. It is a cultural heritage site protected by Hainan Province.

Protected Area: East to Xushi Ancestral Hall Road, west to the village central road (i.e., the third row of residences west of the heritage site), south to the southern entrance road of the village (Puzai Road), north to the mountain-foot perimeter road, covering an area of 23.7 mu.

Wancheng Town: Wancheng Town is situated in the southeastern part of Wanning City, at the midpoint of the Hainan East Expressway. It lies 139 kilometers from Haikou and 115 kilometers from Sanya. To its east is the South China Sea, to the north the Xiaohai Sea, with Dongshan Ridge nestled within the area and the Sun River running east-west. The town has two highway exits. It enjoys a tropical monsoon maritime climate, with abundant sunshine, plentiful rainfall, and pleasant temperatures, averaging 24°C annually.
