Stone Park is located at the foot of Tongguling Mountain in Wenchang. It is a stretch of pristine coastline featuring flat, clear sands and crystal-clear waters. The area is uniquely characterized by clusters of rock formations, both large and small, scattered along the shore and in the sea. Strolling through Stone Park on the gentle sandy beach and watching the clear seawater crash against the rocks evokes the majestic sight described by the verse: “Jagged rocks pierce the sky, surging waves crash against the shore, stirring up thousands of piles of snow.”

Visiting Stone Park is mainly about leisurely walks to enjoy the beautiful seascape and the diverse rock formations. It is said that these rocks were pushed up from the earth’s crust due to tectonic movements hundreds of thousands of years ago. Over time, they have been shaped by the tides and the passage of time into the unique scenery seen today. The rocks vary greatly in shape—some resemble scallop shells, others honeycombs—strikingly lifelike and quite fascinating.
