Hainan Wenchang Moon Bay is located in Longlou District, Wenchang City, Hainan Province. It is a bay within the Tongguling National Nature Reserve and is the easternmost bay on Hainan Island. The bay stretches all the way to the easternmost tip of Hainan, facing Tongguling from afar, bordered by the vast South China Sea to the east and reaching the mouth of Baoling River to the south. Wenchang Moon Bay stretches approximately 11 kilometers. The coastal protection forest here can be considered one of the widest and best-preserved coastal forest belts in Hainan Province. Wenchang Moon Bay is one of the most valuable tourist destinations in Hainan, offering a breathtaking seascape of sea meeting sky. Viewed from atop Tongguling, it gives a feeling of harmony between heaven and earth—an extraordinary experience that captivates visitors.

Nowadays, Moon Bay Beach is a bit hard to find due to the booming real estate developments nearby. However, if you head down from the R&F Moon Bay residential community, the scenery is quite nice—it’s suitable for self-driving.

The scenery is beautiful, the water is clear, and you can even catch small fish.
