Wenchang Satellite Launch Center
The Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in China refers to the Wenchang Satellite Launch Center (Wenchang Satellite Launch Center/WSLC), located near Longlou Town in Wenchang City, Hainan Province, China. It is China's first coastal launch base and one of the few low-latitude launch sites in the world. This launch center is capable of launching the Long March 5 series rockets and the Long March 7 carrier rocket, primarily tasked with launching spacecraft such as geosynchronous orbit satellites, high-mass polar orbit satellites, large-tonnage space stations, and deep-space exploration satellites.
