Yue Ting

Yue Ting

Yue Ting is located in the Yue Ting Administrative Area of Donglu Town, Wenchang City. Also known as the Farewell Memorial Pavilion, it was built to commemorate the profound friendship and noble sentiments shared during the farewell between Xing You and Qiu Jun, two renowned officials from Hainan during the Ming Dynasty. It was reconstructed in the 22nd year of the Republic of China (1933). The pavilion is octagonal in shape, topped with a gourd-shaped finial, stands nine meters tall, and is constructed with reinforced concrete and glazed tiles.
