Chengcun Site (Third Batch of Provincial-Level Protected Sites)

Era: Eastern Zhou Dynasty

Location: East of Chengcun Village, Miaoshang Township, Linyi County

The site extends 1,150 meters from north to south and 1,100 meters from east to west. It was surveyed in December 1987 but has not been excavated. Natural cross-sections indicate that the cultural layer is about 1 meter thick. On the ground surface, fragments of pottery items such as dou (food vessels), basins, and urns are visible, all made of grayish-black pottery. The site remains well-preserved.

In May 2013, it was designated as part of the Seventh Batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units by the State Council.
