Xibei Academy is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Hainan Province.

Xibei Academy is located in Puxian Town, Wenchang City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty to the Republican Era. It is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Hainan Province.

Protected Area: Bounded by the academy's walls on the east, west, and north sides, extends south to Yuexing Pond, and covers an area of 11,908.79 square meters.

Puxian Town: Puxian Town is situated in the northernmost part of Wenchang City, covering an area of 134.7 square kilometers. It is surrounded by the sea on the east, west, and north, with a coastline stretching 38 kilometers. To the south, it neighbors Jinshan Town and Luodou Farm, and faces Meilan Airport across the sea. The town has 4 market towns, 12 village (residential) committees, and 154 natural villages, with a total population of 38,000 people and 47,000 overseas Chinese. It is known as Wenchang’s hometown of overseas Chinese and a land of fish and rice.
