Tan Niu People's Revolutionary Martyrs' Memorial Park is located in Tan Niu Town, Wenchang, dating back to 1993, and is categorized as a modern-era significant historical site and representative architecture.

On February 11, 2018, the Wenchang Municipal People’s Government designated it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Wenchang.

Tan Niu Town: Located in the central part of Wenchang City, Tan Niu Town is traversed by the Haikou-Wenchang Expressway and lies 62 kilometers from Haikou City. It covers an area of 141.27 square kilometers, with a population of 28,026, and administers 16 village (residential) committees and 244 economic cooperatives. The total social output value is 190 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers is 3,189 yuan, and the fiscal revenue is 4.65 million yuan.

The town is a key area in Wenchang for agriculture and aquaculture.
