Within Haikou’s large beachside leisure park, Holiday Beach, rises an imposing circular structure — the Holiday Beach Water World "Roman Theater."

This large all-weather theater, which inherits the architectural style of ancient Rome and blends in the tropical coastal scenery, can accommodate over 1,800 spectators. It makes full use of advanced modern sound, light, and electrical technologies and offers multiple performance functions. Its stage consists of a 760-square-meter performance pool and a 300-square-meter land stage, suitable for competitions and performances such as synchronized swimming, (high-platform) diving, large-scale/specialized cultural and artistic shows, acrobatics, song and dance, fashion shows, and amusement events. Step into the Roman Theater, where white cable structures span the sky, an oval pool ripples with blue waves, and Roman columns and European-style sculptures are tastefully placed amid the music, lighting, sea breeze, and sound of the waves. Watch beauties emerge from the shimmering pool; gaze at Haikou’s night scene as if you were in Hong Kong.

The "Roman Theater" will regularly invite beauties from around the world to perform synchronized swimming, and divers to showcase high-platform diving, accompanied by a rich variety of programs — including American rock music and country music, ethnic dances from India, Pakistan, and Africa, as well as underwater acrobatics and comedic diving — allowing visitors to experience exquisite foreign cultures and performing arts without leaving the country.
