Hainan Dongshan Lake Golf & Country Club is situated at kilometer 27 on the Haizhong Middle Road in Xiuying District, Haikou City. The course opened in 1996 and was designed by Mr. C.J. Tan. It is an 18-hole, par 72 international-standard golf course nestled beside the scenic Dongshan Lake. All fairways are oriented from north to south to minimize the impact of sunlight on your swing. Each hazard — such as trees, water hazards, and bunkers — is strategically placed, and fairways are separated by hillsides and woods to ensure an undisturbed experience. Players can enjoy a relaxing round amid pleasant scenery. The drainage system is exceptionally well-designed, allowing play to resume shortly after heavy rain.

The club features uniquely shaped volcanic crater bunkers, and its striking red sand layer — vibrant as if from a volcanic eruption — is truly one of a kind. Each fairway offers panoramic views of the beautiful surroundings. The fairway grass is a local, eco-friendly variety, and the area is rich in natural vegetation, making it a strategic course that combines fun with challenge.
