Haikou Happy Farm is located at the entrance of Ruhuang Village at the southern foot of the Volcano Crater Geopark, just 16 kilometers from downtown Haikou. Facing the Volcano Crater Global Geopark and backed by Meishe Village, an ecological civilization demonstration village, it is invested in by Sanya Tropical Paradise Forest Park Co., Ltd. It is the only high-end agritainment destination in Haikou and the surrounding areas that integrates vegetable picking, leisure vacation, and hands-on experiences.

Happy Farm takes the unique architectural culture of the Volcano Crater area as its foundation and the rich folk culture of the volcanic rock villages as its essence, offering a lifestyle that is both eco-friendly and modern, as well as simple yet refined.

Covering an area of about 50 acres, Happy Farm features 16 standard guest rooms, 16 duplex suites, and 15 farmhouse courtyards. All guest rooms are built strictly to five-star standards and are designed to blend harmoniously with the farm’s beautiful natural surroundings, providing you with a distinctive accommodation experience. The 15 farmhouse courtyards each have their own unique thematic style, with two to three guest rooms per courtyard, along with a living room, kitchen, dining room, large balcony, and a vegetable garden full of fruits and vegetables. While adhering to unified construction standards, each courtyard is decorated according to its theme.

Currently, Happy Farm offers a range of experiential facilities including: Huashi Jian Leisure Club, “Passing By” Coffee Bar, Happy Restaurant (with 300 seats and 8 private dining rooms), organic farm vegetable plots, hands-on craft workshops, meeting rooms, swimming pool, children’s play equipment, and parking lots. These provide interactive experiences such as family gatherings, leisurely afternoon tea, vegetable picking, handmade tofu making, cycling, swimming, and horseback riding—making it the perfect choice for weekend getaways, corporate team-building, and family reunions.

In 2012, Happy Farm was awarded the title of “National Five-Star Agritainment Farm for Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism,” received the “Silver Award for Design Creativity” at the National Leisure Agriculture Creative Excellence Competition, and the “Outstanding Park Creativity Award” in the Central and Southern China Division of the same competition. It was also recognized by the Hainan Provincial Department of Agriculture as a key agricultural project and a model leisure agriculture site.
