The Permanently Resident Pagoda is a cultural relic protection unit of Hainan Province.

The Permanently Resident Pagoda is located in Changliu Town, Xiuying District, Haikou City, dating back to the Yuan Dynasty. It is a cultural relic protection unit of Hainan Province.

Protected area: The area within 20 meters from the center of the cultural relic is designated as the protected zone.

Changliu Town: Established in 1953, Changliu Town is situated in the administrative center of Haikou City. It borders the Hong Kong-Macao Development Zone to the east, connects to Haikou Railway Station to the west, lies adjacent to Ma’anshan Volcano to the south, and neighbors the Qiongzhou Strait to the north. The Provincial Highway West (Haiyu Xixian), Nanhai Avenue, Binhai Avenue, and Freight Avenue all run through the town. Within its jurisdiction, the Wuyuan River and Naji River flow across, embodying the auspicious symbolism of a “belt of jade wrapped around the waist” and the promise of enduring prosperity.
