Yuyan Hot Spring

Yuyan Hot Spring is located in Yukou Natural Village, Gaolong Village, Yuantou Town, approximately 5 kilometers from Gui-Ba Road and 60 kilometers from the county seat. There are five hot spring springs here, three of which are relatively large and situated in the middle of the fields. Currently, two springs are available for use. Both are lined with cement and gravel, with relatively flat bottoms. The larger one measures 5 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and 1 meter in depth; the smaller one measures 2 meters in length, 1.5 meters in width, and 0.8 meters in depth. The water maintains a constant temperature of 46–50°C and is transparent and colorless. In October 1988, experts from the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Light Industry of China confirmed that it is a high-quality mineral water rich in strontium, radon, and metasilicic acid, with low sodium content. All indicators meet national standards, and it contains over 20 elements beneficial to human health. Additionally, due to the presence of sulfides and hydrogen sulfide in the hot spring water, it has proven to be significantly effective in treating skin diseases, rheumatism, and gynecological conditions when used for bathing.
