Lengshui Stone Forest

Lengshui Stone Forest is located near Lengshui Village in Yuantou Town, Pingle County, about 0.5 kilometers from Liuying Highway. The stone forest area is surrounded by mountains on three sides and borders the village farmland on one side, covering an area of approximately 1 square kilometer. Within the stone forest, clusters of peaks rise densely, generally around 30 meters in height, with bizarre shapes.

Some stand tall and steep, like arrows ready to be shot; some consist of two peaks leaning against each other, seemingly joined yet separate, exuding tenderness as if they were a pair of lovesick lovers; some are majestic and towering, resembling loyal “sentinels” standing guard; some are graceful and slender, like young maidens waiting quietly for a tryst; others resemble camels, eagles, elephant trunks, crouching tigers, galloping horses, or sleeping lions—truly a myriad of forms, nothing is too strange to imagine, making it almost a heaven-sent animal kingdom. Even more eye-catching are formations like “The Tortoise and the Hare Race,” “The Lion and Tiger Battle,” “The Bear and Monkey Play,” “The Dinosaur Playing with a Pearl,” and “The Dolphin Juggling a Ball.” Their natural shapes are so lifelike that they are almost indistinguishable from reality. Coupled with the lush green mountains, dense forests, and the murmuring streams, being there gives you the feeling of being in a painting so beautiful it feels like you're walking inside it.
