She Mountain Ruins is a cultural tourism attraction.

She Mountain Ruins, also known as Jiaodong Shell Mound Site, is located on the seashore southwest of Jiaodong Village, Jiangping Town, Dongxing City, Fangchenggang, Guangxi. It is a relic from the Neolithic Age. The site sits on a hill about 10 meters above sea level. There is a She Mountain on the hill, and the ruins are situated on the elevated eastern part of She Mountain, hence the name She Mountain Ruins.

She Mountain Ruins were discovered in the spring of 1958 when villagers were digging the foundation for a cattle pen near the hill. From 1958 to 1978, cultural relic survey teams from museums in Guangdong and Guangxi provinces (regions) conducted investigations at the site. They unearthed polished stone axes, cord-marked pottery shards mixed with sand, animal fossils, shells, and more, confirming it as a late Neolithic Age site. A protection marker was erected in 1983, and it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The site covers an area of approximately 1,500 square meters, stretching from east to west. It faces the Beibu Gulf to the south and hills to the north, measuring about 200 meters in width from east to west and around 400 meters in length from north to south. To the west, a small river flows from north to south into the bay, while the north features undulating hills about 10 meters high. The hill is covered with a large accumulation of shells, mostly oyster shells, mixed with clams, white snails, net hammers, and other relics left by ancient inhabitants. It is referred to as the "Oyster Shell Hill" and is overlaid with a layer of topsoil and vegetation.

She Mountain Ruins are the living imprints left by the residents of Dongxing during the Neolithic Age and serve as evidence of Dongxing’s long history.
