Ho Chi Minh Exhibition Hall in Chongzuo

Longzhou County in Guangxi is located in the southwestern frontier of China, bordering Vietnam’s Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces. The border residents of China and Vietnam share a long history of friendly exchanges. Starting from 1926 in the last century, Vietnamese revolutionaries came to Longzhou one after another to carry out secret revolutionary activities. After the establishment of the Communist Party of Indochina in 1930, Longzhou became an even more important base for the Communist Party of Indochina overseas. Over a period of 18 years, more than 40 individuals including Ho Chi Minh, Huang Wenshu, Li Hongfeng, Chang Zheng, Vo Nguyen Giap, and Zhou Wenjin conducted revolutionary activities in the Longzhou area. Most of them later became leaders of the Vietnamese Party and state, Central Committee members of the Communist Party of Vietnam, generals of the People's Army, and provincial- or ministerial-level officials. The Vietnamese revolutionaries received strong support from the people of Longzhou during their revolutionary activities over the years, forging a deep revolutionary friendship with them.

The exhibition hall covers an area of over 380 square meters, with a construction area of more than 1,300 square meters. The displays are divided into two sections: “Chairman Ho Chi Minh and China” and “Longzhou and the Vietnamese Revolution,” featuring over 400 photos and charts, as well as more than 60 cultural relics. These rich and detailed exhibits vividly portray the profound friendship and shared history of struggle between Chairman Ho Chi Minh, Vietnamese revolutionaries, and the Chinese people during the arduous years of war. The opening of the Ho Chi Minh Exhibition Hall plays a positive educational and guiding role in strengthening the friendship between the peoples of China and Vietnam, and has become a valuable revolutionary tradition education base for young people from both countries.
