The Longzhou Subtropical Rare Plants Garden at the Experimental Station of Guangxi Subtropical Crops Research Institute boasts resources with South subtropical garden features and a rich tea culture heritage. With picturesque scenery, lush greenery, simple local customs, and fragrant tea and fruit all year round, it was rated as a “Guangxi Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site” in 2006 and recognized as a “Self-Travel Fun Caravan” by the Travel Network Caravan Council and the Self-Travel Fun program team of Nanning TV.

It has been recommended as an “Self-Drive Tourism Destination,” a “Civilized Tourism Demonstration Window (Unit)” of Longzhou County, and an “Advanced Collective of Chongzuo City Tourism Enterprises.” The site is 8 km from Longzhou County town and 10 km from Longzhou Bus Station, offering convenient transportation. It is just 2 km from the famous scenic spot and national cultural heritage site — Xiaoliancheng. The garden features star-rated “Shuangxi Guesthouse” and farm-style villas where visitors can enjoy farmstay accommodations.
