The Site of the Longzhou Defense Battle is a cultural relics protection unit of Longzhou County and a classic red tourism attraction.

The Site of the Longzhou Defense Battle is situated at the riverside end of Xinglong Road, Longzhou Town, Longzhou County, and dates back to the Republican era.

It is a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

The boundary extends south to the Long-Ping Highway, northwest to the riverbank, and east to 4 meters outside the Zhuang Yun-kuan Memorial Monument. A straight line is drawn from the highway to the riverbank (as shown in the 1986 approved and published map), defining the protected area for the Site of the Longzhou Defense Battle and four other cultural heritage sites. A construction control zone within 30 meters outside the protected boundary is also designated.

To the east, it connects to Nanning and the inland areas; to the west, it leads to Vietnam via the Shuikou River, making it a strategically important location known since ancient times as a key town in the southern frontier. In 221 BC, after Qin Shi Huang unified China, Longzhou was under the jurisdiction of Xiang Commandery. Over the past two thousand years, Longzhou has undergone several name changes, and in the fourth year of the Wude era of the Tang Dynasty (621 AD), it was officially established as Longzhou. The town covers a total area of 11.62 square kilometers, governs 7 communities, has 3,763 acres of arable land, and a population of 15,708.
