Shizhuang Site is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shanxi Province.

Shizhuang Site (First Batch of Provincial-Level Protected Sites)

Era: Neolithic

Location: Northern Banpo area of Shizhuang Village, Puzhou Town, Yongji City

It lies near the main course of the Yellow River to the west and the Yunliang River to the south. The terrain is part of the second-level river terrace, with relatively flat ground covering an area of about 2 million square meters. Surveyed and partially excavated in 1954. The cultural layer is 0.2–3 meters thick. Artifacts unearthed and collected include pottery such as jars and basins, stone tools such as axes, adzes, and chisels, as well as a large number of painted pottery fragments. It belongs to the typical Miaodigou type culture.
