Han Tombs of Gaoshi Village (First Batch of Provincial-Level Protected Sites)

Era: Han Dynasty

Address: 1.5 km west of Gaoshi Village, Kaolao Town, Yongji City

The original tomb mounds were distributed on the Loess Plateau to the west of Gaoshi Village, totaling eight large and small tombs, each covering an area of about 200 square meters. The site spans 300 meters from north to south and 150 meters from east to west. Currently, only one large mound remains, standing 3 meters high with a perimeter of 150 meters. The rest have been leveled.

Gaoshi Village: Located southeast of Kaolao Town, Gaoshi Village enjoys convenient transportation. Its western edge borders Yonglin Road, and most village lanes have been paved. The village currently has 6,100 mu of arable land, 13 residential groups, 416 households, a population of about 2,680, 510 laborers working outside the village, and 53 Party members.
