Tomb of Meng Tong (Fourth Batch of Provincial Protected Sites)

Era: Ming Dynasty

Location: East of Wangzhuang Village, Puzhou Town, Yongji City

This is the burial site of Meng Tong, who served as Minister of Rites and Grand Secretary of the Hanlin Academy during the Ming Dynasty, along with his family. The cemetery faces south and measures 190 meters in length from north to south and 80 meters in width from east to west. The tomb complex is enclosed by blue brick walls, and the spirit way is flanked by stone statues such as figures, horses, and lions. Within the cemetery are arranged in sequence the main gate, stone steps, a stone memorial archway, the foundational remains of the original sacrificial temple pillars, as well as seven large tomb mounds and seven tomb steles.
