Era: Built in the Yuan Dynasty, renovated in the Qing Dynasty

Address: Dongcun, Qintou Town, Yongji City

The stage was built in the second year of the Zhi Zheng era of the Yuan Dynasty (1322) and underwent two renovations in the 16th year of the Qianlong era (1761) and the 20th year of the Jiaqing era (1819).

The stage is three bays wide and three bays deep, featuring a single-eave hip-and-gable roof. It is approached by stone steps, 1.3 meters high, measuring 11.4 meters in both east-west and north-south directions. The structure on the stage is divided into front and rear performance areas, with the front section being 4 meters wide and the rear 2.6 meters wide. The brackets under the eaves feature a complex arrangement, with the lower eaves sloping at 15 degrees. At the center of the stage’s roof is a prominent caisson ceiling, and hanging plaques read “Welcoming Prosperity” and “Welcoming Harmony.”

On October 7, 2019, the Dongcun Stage was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Dongcun Village: Located at the southernmost tip of Qintou Town, Dongcun Village borders Yuxiang Township to the south and Yanhu District to the east. The village has a total of 675 households, with a population of 2,320 people, divided into 11 resident groups. There are 68 Party members organized into 4 Party groups. The village economy is primarily based on agriculture, with diversified operations. The arable land area spans 4,980 mu, including 4,500 mu for wheat, 400 mu for cotton, and 80 mu for economic forests. In recent years, guided by the Party's beneficial policies, the village has made full use of its existing resources, significantly adjusted its industrial structure, and actively promoted local economic development.
