Shanchawan Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Covering an area of 1,400 acres, Shanchawan Scenic Area is located near Shanchawan by the lower reaches of the Luqing River, at Xiaotouling in Jiangkou Township, Luzhai County, just 7 kilometers from downtown Liuzhou.

Built against the mountains, the scenic area offers panoramic views from its hilltop — where a stretch of emerald river winds through the surrounding peaks, echoing the poetic charm of “the river winding like nine loops” in greater Liuzhou. Hence, it is also known as a miniature version of Liuzhou, often referred to as “Little Liuzhou.”

The Luzhai County Shanchawan Resort covers 1,000 acres and is situated near Shanchawan by the lower reaches of the Luqing River, at Xiaotouling in Jiangkou Township, Luzhai County — just 7 kilometers from downtown Liuzhou and 25 kilometers from Luzhai County town.
