Tiandou Village, Dongtian Village, Siyong Township

Tiandou Village, Dongtian Village, Siyong Township in Rongshui County is located in the northwest of Rongshui County, about 40 kilometers from the county seat. The village consists of 137 households with a population of 550, all living in traditional Miao stilted wooden houses. The layout is staggered and charming, with beautiful natural scenery that captivates visitors. The Tiandou River meanders gently around the village, and the small bridges and flowing water create a uniquely picturesque Miao ethnic pastoral scene.

The entire village of Tiandou is built against the mountain. There are three thousand-year-old banyan trees in the village, two of which are known as the “Millennial Couple Banyans.” They grow intertwined, their roots and branches connected, inseparable from each other.

The folk customs and cultural life of the villagers are rich and colorful, with a strong ethnic flavor. Unique traditional activities include the “Lusheng Dance in the Courtyard,” “Ya Bian Xi Chun,” and the “Torch Festival.”

In April 2006, it was named one of the “Top Ten Beautiful Villages in Liuzhou City,” and in November of the same year, it was designated as a “Guangxi Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site.”
