The Rongshui Shuanglong Cave Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Shuanglonggou Scenic Area is located on the hill behind Guxuan Village in the northwest of Rongshui County, only three kilometers from the county center. It is one of the largest and most pristine forest parks in northwest Guangxi, covering a forest area of over 10,000 mu. The forest preserves a wide variety of vegetation in excellent condition, with uniquely shaped rocks, towering ancient trees, and two valleys within the woods where cascading waterfalls flow down and streams run continuously, converging into a reservoir of over 100 mu, hence the name Shuanglonggou. With undulating terrain, misty surroundings, murmuring mountain streams, and two waterfalls each reaching a height of 100 meters, as well as a nearly 100-mu clear reservoir that looks like a piece of jade embedded in the scenic area, the natural beauty here is refreshing and makes it an excellent destination for leisure and vacation.

The scenic area contains about 6,300 mu of public welfare primitive forest, where lush trees and ancient giants provide ample shade, multiple waterfalls cascade down, and the air is fresh, making it a true natural “oxygen bar.” Two small streams meander through the forest, their trickling waters faintly visible, resembling two dragons swimming among the trees—hence the name “Shuanglonggou” (Double Dragon Valley).

Shuanglonggou is known for housing Guangxi’s “first suspension glass bridge.” Visiting the primitive forest and walking across the glass bridge have become top choices for tourists. Located atop a Miao village hill, it is a tourist destination characterized by exploration in the primitive deep mountain forests. The scenery is dominated by nature, allowing visitors to experience the beauty of the “flying joy” forest from three dimensions: the ground, the treetops, and the air.

The scenic area offers visitors a 3D perspective through looking up, straight ahead, and looking down, allowing them to experience the primitive forest via activities such as forest traversing and treetop walking. The total area of the scenic zone is nearly 6,000 mu, with over 5,000 mu being pristine forest landscape, breathtaking in beauty. Shuanglonggou has five wonders: trees, vines, waterfalls, bridges, and streams.

The Shuanglonggou Primitive Forest Scenic Area is a natural forest park. Its rich forest vegetation gives it the appearance of a primeval forest, and it is also home to many rare flowers and plants, as well as towering ancient trees. The forest spans hundreds of mu, closely enveloping the park and giving Shuanglonggou a mysterious aura that piques curiosity and a strong desire to witness its beauty.

The scenic area also features a bridge constructed from steel cables and glass, stretching 199.9 meters in length with a vertical drop of 52 meters. As a result, this bridge is also named the “Confession Bridge,” symbolizing that as long as one boldly confesses their feelings and dares to cross the 520 (symbolizing “I love you”), the couple can be together forever.

The “ziplining” experience in the Rongshui Shuanglonggou Primitive Forest Scenic Area is currently one of the longest high-altitude ziplines in Guangxi. The cable is 528 meters long with a height difference of 45 meters—equivalent to a 15-story building. It features three zipline tracks, allowing three people to slide simultaneously. It takes about 50 seconds to reach the end from top to bottom. This is a forest high-altitude zipline that combines challenge, thrill, participation, and entertainment, offering an exciting, thrilling, and safe high-altitude gliding experience. It allows you to feel like you’re flying freely or soaring like a bird through the forest, enjoying the passion of speed and the thrill of a safe adventure. It is a perfect blend of traditional transportation and modern high-adrenaline sports.

Guangxi’s first “fully transparent forest glass slide” has been built in the Rongshui Shuanglonggou Scenic Area. The slide is designed entirely of pure glass, sleek and dazzling, with a total length of 196 meters and a height drop of 45 meters. The middle curve section divides the slide into several parts, each with varying slopes, and there are small buffer zones between sections. Riders can experience different speeds and thrills brought by the varying slopes during the slide. Looking up from below, the slide winds through the forest like a long dragon. Visitors can slide through the tree canopy of the Shuanglonggou primitive forest in a safe yet exhilarating experience.

The Shuanglonggou Mengwu Restaurant specializes in ethnic-flavored cuisine. While dining, visitors can enjoy Miao ethnic lusheng dance performances, taste distinctive local dishes, and experience the Miao tradition of shouting toasts (“Ya—Wu”) and the “High Mountain Flowing Water” wine-serving ritual.
