Hezhou Hakka Eco-Museum is located in Baihua Village, Liantang Town, Babu District. It is part of Guangxi’s “10+1” project, which includes ten eco-museums and one ethnic museum aimed at cultural preservation, and is also China’s first Hakka cultural eco-museum. With an investment of 1.8 million yuan, it is composed of four sections: a work station, an information center, an exhibition center, and a protected area. The work station, information center, and exhibition center cover an area of over 2,000 square meters, while the protected area consists of Baihua Village and Renchong Village. The Hakka walled house, a unique architectural form of the Hakka people, is represented in the museum grounds by nearly 600 structures of various sizes, mainly in three styles: the mansion style, the lock-head style, and the round-dragon style. The exhibition area displays Hakka production tools and cultural customs, offering significant research value and serving as a comprehensive eco-museum for understanding Hakka culture.
