Fulin Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Originally named Qingli Temple, it was built in the first year of the Tang Dynasty's Taihe era. After being renovated through successive dynasties, it has become a grand structure and a popular tourist destination in Xinji.

Xinji City is a renowned hub for leather and fur trade, attracting merchants from around the world to its commercial city every year. Fulin Temple is located 3 kilometers east of the commercial city, with direct road access, forming an integrated tourism and business area that combines shopping, sightseeing, accommodation, and entertainment. After its renovation in 1995, Fulin Temple covers an area of 64 mu, with a construction area of 28,800 square meters and an investment of 30 million yuan. It is a magnificent and resplendent antique art masterpiece, featuring nine major scenic spots and architectural complexes along its central axis. Among them, the 45-meter-long relief glazed screen wall features a unique design and novel shapes; the Great Compassion Spring continuously emits holy water with a gentle murmuring sound; the Heavenly King Hall houses a smiling, kind-hearted, and ever-jovial Maitreya Buddha, along with the majestic Four Heavenly Kings and the Weituo guardian deity statues; to the north lie three golden water bridges arranged side by side from east to west, beneath which is a liberation pond. On both sides of the pond are the Merit Stele Forests, consisting of 12 stone tablets, where donors who contribute over 100 yuan have their names inscribed. Crossing the bridge leads to the Ordination Platform, flanked by the Bell Tower and the Drum Tower on either side.

The main highlight of Fulin Temple is the Mahavira Hall, which is grand and majestic, housing a massive gilded statue of Sakyamuni Buddha and a reverse-facing Guanyin Bodhisattva, with the Eighteen Arhats on both sides; adjacent to the hall are the Glazed World and the Lotus World. At the back is the Guanyin Pavilion, also one of the main structures, enshrining a colossal Thousand-Hand-Thousand-Eye Guanyin Bodhisattva; on both sides are the Arhat Halls, home to 500 uniquely expressive arhats; the Sangharama Hall and the Patriarch Hall are also built on either side. Further back stands the White Pagoda, 36 meters high, with two maze-like buildings on either side composed of 100 white elephants and 100 blue lions respectively; the Hundred Lions Garden and the Hundred Elephants Garden, with the Bodhisattvas Samantabhadra and Manjushri enshrined in the centers respectively. Additionally, there are the Abbot’s Courtyard, Meditation Hall, Buddhist Academy, and Cloud Assembly Hall, making it an ideal place for scripture teaching, Buddhist exchange activities, and sightseeing. On the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month in 1955, the completion ceremony of the Guanyin Hall and the consecration ceremony of the Guanyin Bodhisattva were held. The ancient temple revealed a renewed look, drawing crowds of visitors who gathered to celebrate the prosperous times.
