Tongbai Mountain

Tongbai Mountain, also known as West Mountain, is located at Wenchangping in the Xishan Forest Farm in the southwestern part of Linwu County. It serves as the watershed between the Xiang River system and the Pearl River system within the county. The main peak, Tiantouling, stands at an elevation of 1,712 meters, making it the highest peak in the county. The mountain is renowned for its majesty, steepness, and serenity, with snow lingering even in spring. "Snow-Covered West Mountain After Rain" is one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Linwu. Today, the mountain hosts five hydroelectric power stations, has a kilometer-long tunnel excavated through it, and will soon feature a large reservoir.
