Dacheng Hall

Dacheng Hall is a cultural tourism attraction.

In front of Dacheng Hall are 19 steps, with a white marble carved stone dragon in the center. The carving is crystal clear, exquisitely detailed, and lifelike. "Dacheng Hall," also known as the "Temple of the First Teacher," is a nine-ridged building with a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof. Inside the hall, the shrine enshrines a memorial tablet of Confucius, which is a Yuan Dynasty stone carving inscribed with "The Divine Seat of Confucius, the Great Sage, the Literary and Cultural King." Above the shrine hangs a plaque inscribed with "Model Teacher for Ten Thousand Generations," which is said to be the authentic calligraphy of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (Aisin-Gioro Xuanye).
