Qingming Bridge

Qingming Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.

Qingming Bridge is located on the ancient Jiaohe River course between NanZhao Village and BeiZhao Village in Douyu Town, Luancheng County. It is one of the larger and more ancient stone arch bridges built over the Jiaohe River and served as the essential crossing for descendants of Su Weidao to visit ancestral graves. The bridge is 44.2 meters long and 5.08 meters wide, with intricately carved and time-worn railings. Although some of the railing panels have been damaged, they have been restored to their original appearance through repairs, making the bridge comparable to Zhaozhou Bridge.

This cultural relic was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit by the county government in March 1999, approved as a quasi-municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit by the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics in July 1999, and submitted for approval as a provincial-level key cultural heritage protection unit in 2000. A Qingming Park has now been built around it, which opened to visitors in February 2000.
