Rucheng Martyrs' Park

Rucheng Martyrs' Park is a classic red tourism destination.

Rucheng Martyrs' Park is located in Lianxi Community, Chengguan Town, Rucheng County. Its foundation was laid on July 15, 1987, and it was completed and put into use on August 26, 1988. In 1994, it was listed as a county-level cultural relics protection unit and serves as a patriotic education base in Rucheng County.

The park houses a martyrs' cemetery, in front of which a granite memorial stele bears the inscription “Eternal Glory to the Heroic Martyrs” by General Zhu Liangcai of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. At the mountaintop stands the Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument, which is 19.27 meters tall and faces south. The southern face of the monument is inscribed with “Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs,” written by Lieutenant General Tang Tianji. The park also features a memorial stele, the Heroes Pavilion, and a martyrs' name stele.
