The Huang Family Courtyard – Former Residence of Mao Zedong is located in Huangjia Village, Tuqiao Town, Rucheng County, dating back to 1927.

In 2012, the Huang Family Courtyard – Former Residence of Mao Zedong was designated as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage sites by the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government.

Protected Area: Extends 30 meters in all directions from the outer wall foundation of the site.
