Zhoujiazhuang Agricultural Characteristic Sightseeing Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Zhoujiazhuang Agricultural Characteristic Sightseeing Park is located in Zhoujiazhuang Township, Jinzhou City, adjacent to National Highway 307. It is 3 km from the Jinzhou exit of the Shijiazhuang–Huanghua Expressway, 5 km from Jinzhou Railway Station, and 60 km from Shijiazhuang Airport. It is among the first batch of agricultural tourism demonstration sites designated by the Hebei Provincial Tourism Bureau. The sightseeing and fruit-picking park covers an area of over 8,300 mu, serving both as a picking base and a colorful botanical garden. It features pear trees, grapevines, peach trees, cherry trees, and more, with ripening periods ranging from mid-May to early October. Strawberries are available from early January to the end of May. The colorful botanical garden includes over 80 varieties such as magnolia, cherry blossom, and Qiwuxiang flowering locust, primarily for flower and foliage appreciation. The flowering season lasts from late March to mid-July.

Thanks to its unique management and operation model, Zhoujiazhuang Township in Jinzhou City, Hebei Province — an ordinary member among the many people's communes across the country — has, after nearly half a century, become a distinctive attraction in the eyes of visitors.

Most locals still rely on a collective planned economy. Earning work points, receiving grain rations, collective farming, and unified distribution are the main forms of labor in Zhoujiazhuang. Today, the land in Zhoujiazhuang Township is divided into square plots of thousands of mu, with hundreds of mu planted uniformly.

As Zhoujiazhuang Township has consistently adhered to collective management and operation, with unified management throughout the production process, all the fruits grown on its collectively owned land meet high-quality, pollution-free standards. It has become a beautiful ecological sightseeing park, attracting visitors from all over. Stepping into this collective farm, while enjoying the pastoral scenery, also stirs memories of collective production for many.

It is understood that Zhoujiazhuang Township is currently the only township in China’s rural areas that still implements a township-level accounting and management system. The local land and labor force remain under collective ownership. Terms from the planned economy era such as “work points” and “grain rations” are still part of the daily lives of commune members in Zhoujiazhuang.
