Mingzhu Park

Mingzhu Park is located north of Shijiazhuang’s North Second Ring Road and east of Zhaolingpu Street, covering an area of 5.15 hectares. Construction began on February 20, 1999, and the park was completed and opened to the public in October of the same year.

The park is themed around the history and culture of Hebei Province, forming its visitor experience space. The circular patterns in the sequence plaza symbolize a string of pearls along the Minxin River; the Pavilion of Breezes and Moon Embrace, the highest point in the park, features a waterfall beneath it that flows into the lake, creating a natural scene of “feeling the breeze from above and embracing the moon in the water.”

The Cultural Plaza serves as the focal point of the park’s landscape and cultural elements, fully showcasing the history and culture of Hebei Province as well as plant-themed designs.
