Shijiazhuang Botanical Garden is a park themed around plant landscape appreciation. It serves as a suburban green ecological leisure base integrating functions such as science education, research, recreation, and social production. The garden covers a total area of 167.1 hectares, with green space spanning 1.02 million square meters.

The botanical garden boasts 38 scenic spots including the Bocheng Lake Scenic Area, Bonsai Art Museum, Tropical Plant Viewing Hall, Science Museum, Rose Art Plaza, Corridor Bridge and Waterside Pavilion, Lake Island, Lotus in Water, Cascading Waterfalls, and Century Clock. It also includes 15 specialized plant gardens such as the Pine and Cypress Garden, Peony Garden, Paeonia Garden, Rose Garden, Cherry Blossom Garden, Peach Blossom Garden, Crabapple Garden, Lilac Garden, Aquatic Plant Garden, Unusual Plant Garden, and Wetland Plant Garden. These areas are home to a collection of 1,136 plant species and hundreds of thousands of individual plants.
