Xinji International Leather City is a National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction.

Xinji International Leather City is situated in Xinji City, Hebei Province, known as the "Leather Capital of China." It is the largest and most fully integrated leather and leather garments industrial park in China, as well as the single-largest specialized leather and leather garments shopping mall in the country. It is recognized as a National AAAA-level Tourism Shopping Destination, a Five-Star Professional Market, and a National Industry Standard Demonstration Unit.

The leather industry in Xinji boasts a long and prestigious history, originating in the Ming Dynasty and flourishing in the Qing Dynasty, earning it the reputation of "Xinji Leather Renowned Worldwide." Since the reform and opening up, the industry has experienced rapid growth, forming a development pattern where Xinji International Leather City, tanning, and garment industrial zones advance together. It has become the country’s largest production base for tanning, garments, and leather goods, and has been officially designated by the state as the "Capital of Leather and Leather Garments in China," a "Demonstration Base for Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading in Specialized Fields," and a AAAA-level Tourist Attraction.

To promote the transformation and upgrading of Xinji’s leather industry and accelerate its leap from being China’s Leather Capital to the world’s, the Xinji Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, adhering to the principles of integrating urban development with industrial growth, and aligning service industries with the leather sector, constructed in 2009 a nationally unparalleled, high-standard specialized leather and leather garments shopping mall. The project covers a planned area of 1,100 mu, with a total investment of 1.26 billion yuan and a commercial space of 360,000 square meters, and officially opened in 2012.
