Shijiazhuang TV Tower is located in the picturesque Century Park. Constructed in January 1997, it officially opened to the public on October 1, 2000. Standing 280 meters tall, it is the tallest steel tower in North China. As a multifunctional tower integrating tourism, sightseeing, dining, entertainment, and radio & television broadcasting, it is one of the city's iconic landmarks and popular tourist spots.

Shijiazhuang TV Tower consists of five parts: the tower foundation, entrance hall, upper tower, lower tower, and mast. The design of the TV Tower is inspired by the concept of a "gem." The upper tower’s “gem,” representing modernity, is situated between 166 and 200 meters high, spanning five floors and featuring a revolving restaurant, exhibition halls, art galleries, observation decks, and open-air terraces. The lower tower’s “gem,” symbolizing antiquity, is located between 60 and 70 meters and has three floors. The upper and lower towers are connected by the nine-story main body of the tower, symbolizing the ascent to the heavens and representing how a rich ancient civilization gave birth to a brilliant modern culture.

The entrance hall is uniquely decorated and full of contemporary flair. The mural inside the cylindrical structure uses stirring poetry and several iconic images to illustrate aspects of “Yanzhao Culture” and depict some of Shijiazhuang’s scenic spots. On the north and south sides of the cylinder stand the country’s largest and tallest spectacular water curtain wall, measuring 5.2 meters wide and 1.8 meters high, along with an artificial rock wall. The floor on the north side is made of laminated glass arranged into a map of China, beneath which flows a small stream. Walking through the entrance hall is bound to leave visitors feeling inspired and amazed.

The revolving restaurant is located at 191 meters, covering an area of 510 square meters. The renowned Chinese vegetarian restaurant “Lüliuju” attracts a constant stream of diners with its distinctive plant-based cuisine. From the tower, visitors can gaze into the distance and take in the beautiful Century Golf Course, Century Park, the clear Minxin River, the Second Ring Road that resembles a jade belt, rows of skyscrapers, and endless fertile fields... In short, the post-reform-and-opening-up face of Shijiazhuang is fully visible, offering a delightful and unforgettable view. At night, the Shijiazhuang TV Tower shines even more brilliantly under its colorful, multi-dimensional lighting system.
