Hebei Art Museum

Hebei Art Museum is situated at No. 113, Huai’an East Road, Shijiazhuang City, directly opposite the north gate of Century Park. The site occupies a land area of 10,700 square meters, with a constructed area of 3,300 square meters. It includes fully equipped facilities such as exhibition halls, an academic lecture hall, galleries, and meeting rooms. With an exhibition area of 2,500 square meters and a display line of 550 meters, it can accommodate national-level single-theme art exhibitions. It officially opened to the public in May 2005, providing a platform for the promotion and display of contemporary art.

Affiliated with the Hebei Provincial Department of Culture, the museum is a non-profit cultural institution dedicated to the exhibition, collection, research, and academic exchange of artworks.

Since its opening, Hebei Art Museum has hosted over a hundred various exhibitions, enriching and enlivening the cultural life of the capital’s residents. Notable exhibitions include the "Xu Beihong Original Works Exhibition," "Hometown Sentiments · Liang Yan Art Exhibition," "Exhibition of Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of Shijiazhuang’s Liberation," and "Into the Taihang Mountains – Painting Exhibition Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the Nation." These events have had significant social impact. In May 2009, Hebei Art Museum was officially designated as a “National Second-Class Museum” by the National Cultural Heritage Administration.

Getting There: Take bus routes 49, 57, 65, 71, 73, 81, or 290 within Shijiazhuang City, get off at the Economic College stop, then walk west to the north gate of Century Park.
